I fish a Alumacraft deep v. Similar design.

Does your boat have a plastic slab on which to mount transducers? Like this:

Notice how the si transducer is mounted to be just at the boat bottom.

Where do you find those plastic slabs?  I hate drilling into the boat.

On my boat, they drilled the transom to attach the slab, but that meant all the later transducer install would not be through the hull. The plastic is the same as used for chopping boards and the original folks at Tracy Marine in Mountain Home put it on.

They do make a "glue-on" product for the same purpose if you're anti drill holes. Its called "Sternmate" Worked great!
