Quillback Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Fished out of my buddy Jeb's boat today. Fish wanted to bite early today, in the freezing fog. Later in the morning, into the afternoon, it started getting slow, and we were off the water at 1:30 PM. We caught between 25-30, 4 or 5 in the keeper sized range. Most fish came on a 3/16 finesse jig, shakey head, and Rock Crawler. Got a couple on the drop shot also. Best quality came on the Crawler. Nothing big enough to warrant a trip to the taxidermist. Water temps were 51-53, water is still a dingy green color. Muddy Water 1
eyedabassman Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 I am going out on Sat. but I was thinking around 11 AM to let the water warm a bit.But now you had a early bit? I am going to fish Combs down to the 86 bridge. Anyone that see me come over and say HI I have a dark blue Trition with red trim.
Quillback Posted March 25, 2016 Author Posted March 25, 2016 Seems to have been a early bite, look at Bfergs report, they got on them early also. But who knows, tomorrow might be a later bite.
