Benefit Fly Tournament at Beaver

Wanted to say that I enjoyed meeting some of the members from the forum at the tournament. I got to talk with Don and TroutChaser on Friday before the tournament and trade some fishing secrets. Although the fishing was pretty good on Friday, the day of the tournament those trout kicked my butt!! I really had to work to catch very many fish at all, but it's that challenge that will keep me coming back. I always enjoy Beaver for a change of scenery and a little solitude compared to the other tailwaters ( but I'm ready to make a trip to Taney soon and redeem myself for Saturday!!!) Met Steve in the store and he was the friendly, helpful person that you would expect him to be after reading his posts on the forum. Fished with Eric (DuckyDoty's friend) in the tournament and he was a great guy and a heck of a fisherman. Really enjoyed his company and hope to see him at Taney sometime and fish again. Wished I could have stayed around longer to see the results of all the teams and meet Faith but I had to be back in KC on Sunday to go to work so we headed out right after turning in our results. Hope to make it to the Taney get together and meet a few more of you.
