chi0082 Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 I've been looking for awhile now for the general progression of the spawn on most of the sought after fish species on the Rock. Maybe I'm not typing in the correct terms when searching, but I'm just looking for which species spawns first, second, third, etc. Can you help me order these species in order of the spawn.... White bass, white crappie, black crappie, walleye, smallmouth's, largemouth's, flathead catfish, channel catfish, and shad.
m&m Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Chi0082, here is an article from MDC about 2016 fishing prospects. I'm not sure if it provides the exact sequence. http://fishing.mdc.mo.gov/reports/table-rock-lake Mike

I know generally walleye are one of, if not, the first to spawn. But after that, I'm lost.
Macsimus Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Not in chronological order but it gives water temps which could help. chi0082 and dan hufferd 2 "There was a time that I didn't fish, but I cannot remember it."

dan hufferd Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 I was going to say the walleye and trout would be 1st
