Fishrman Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Fished for most of the day on Thur., caught approx. 15 bass with 5 keepers. Had two good fish and 3 other 15-16 inchers. Fish came on rogue, jig, and wart. Saw water temp. of 47 and as low as 41.5. Good luck, will be back at again tomorrow.
Dutch Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 If I might be so bold as to ask, what part of the lake were you fishing cause it is a really big pond?
Fishrman Posted March 2, 2007 Author Posted March 2, 2007 I fished from Shell Knob bridge up the Kings to about Akin Back.
Bill Babler Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Good buddy fished the Shell Knob to Holiday Island stretch today and reported very good action on the suspending rogue. Transitions banks, and gravel pockets off chunk rock. Purple over white continue to be the best color combo. He also took a stint from K-City to the dam and reported shad kill by the thousands and just could not get bit with all the free forage in the pond. Knob, to E-Rock is still the best bet on either a jig, stick or wart. Sparing on the wart as it is just a mite early, unless you are moving it at a snail pace. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
