Blll Posted May 11, 2016 Share Posted May 11, 2016 I did get out Tuesday morning. Fished avoca trying to duplicate my luck with Ned last week. Bass were willing but size was gone. Caught 9 but only one 14" spot. I did get all three bass species but small. Also had a 13" crappie just crush the ned while it was dead still. Lost something really big. I think flathead. No fast run, just a steady move to deeper water and a couple head shakes. I pushed the 6# line too much and so long. Love week day fishing. Saw 3 boats all morning. WT 68-69. PigSooner Posted May 12, 2016 Share Posted May 12, 2016 I was out yesterday- fished from the islands to point 9. Turned out to be a nice night after the wind layed down.
