I am curious to any info anyone would like to share on if there is an evening Top Water bite around RB or Mutton Creek areas.  I came down a couple weeks ago in the morning and had a great time walleye fishing and was on TRL last week early mornings throwing Top water spooks. Just purchased my first couple WP and was wanting to see what the craze is all about and am trying to decide where to go.

I have tried top water for a short duration every time out with no success. Stockton has abundant numbers of keeper fish in the 1.5-2.0.lb range. The numbers percentage wise above that weight are pretty dismal, so if searching for that big bass, which the spook in particular is noted for, you best have a lot of patience and time on your hand.

Fished hard last weekend around Ruark and Muttton did not get a bite on top water, I have a couple of those WP and I have not had much luck with them. For some reason all 4 of the ones I have none of them run or sound the same. Fished on 8 lb line to 12 lb line they just don't seem to make as much noise as I thought there would.

Last couple times I have been out there was a good spook bite after 7pm. This was a week ago and in the little sac arm.  Haven't been over by mutton in the evening.  Can't get a topwater bit in the morning going at all.  Will be out there Friday and Saturday...hopefully this warmer weather will get them moving out to their summer haunts and a little more predictable

Did you order all 50 colors? I think you could get that for only $600 thru Cabela's.
