Bass fishing info

Will be on Pomme the end of July with girl friend hoping to catch a few bass and visit the area. Would appreciate any info you are willing to share as we have not been there for more than 10 years. Thank you

End of July I certainly wouldn't be afraid to go early early when possible.  Likely to be a few whites popping around as well.  Many times by late July to mid august when the shad are thick, the old timers always said "throw something that don't look like a shad".  have seen some good things happen with crawdad colored cranks and of course the always reliable tubes and jigs.

Can't fish right now but 10 1/2 inch worm on steeper banks where there is timber has always been good for me in the summer especially after dark. Plus its a lot cooler at night, my favorite time to bass fish in the summer. Like MOPanfisher said early early in the morning can be good on big worms and top water.

Thank you guys my lady and I appreciate your help. Will get a map and try and figure out a game plan but with only two days it could be difficult at best to find somewhere to fish however must persevere as she has expectations of which I hope to achieve. May luck be with me gotta keep momma happy. lol

might as well look at stockton Pomme can be a hard fishery during the summer
