Mike jones Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Great meeting you last night Brian...how did you do?
Members Bg193ch Posted July 3, 2016 Author Members Posted July 3, 2016 Well sir, I caught two that would've weighed. Lost a couple. It was a slow night, but I'll take it over getting skunked. Did you get your trolling batteries fixed up?

Didn't get started fishing until about 8:00.
Champ188 Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Heard from a friend and very honest guy that there were quite a few dead fish floating around Saturday morning, including one 5 pounds or better. I'm CPR all the way and personally wish there would be no hot weather derbies without proper care --- aerated post-weigh in holding tanks and a release boat to get them out away from the hot, oxygen-deprived water near the banks. But as has been said here before, it would be better to take them home than just to leave them for buzzard food. Sure doesn't give tournament fishing a good name among the general public. I agree champ...in our Castmasters club, any dead fish is taken home to be supper by one of the guys. It seems there is always 5 or 6 guys fishing off of the little fishing dock at prairie...I'm sure if one of us tourney guys went over and said 'hey, anyone want some bass to eat?' they would be very happy!! That would be better than buzzard or racoon food.

Shame on all involved. Mike jones 1
Blll Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 Summer tourneys...How about a 3 fish limit? Should try to do something.
