I fished this morning from 5:30 AM until the heat and sanity overcame me. That was around 11.

Water temp was 88. Fished 3 proven locations and one experiment. I caught one keeper walleye, bass, and a crappie.

The best part of the trip was meeting Dan Hufferd face to face. I like being able to put a face with a name.

The one keeper was hanging out in brush in 30 feet of water near the mouth of Rock Creek.

Be careful out there.

It was great to meet you too. The morning was calm and not many people we could have used a little chop on the water. I didn't bring the top for the boat, it will be on there next time.

I have worked in the heat my whole life and even my head was getting warm. I would do it again in a minute, I would just stay a little closer to that red boat, so I can learn a thing or three.
