Phil,

Had a great time this weekend showing two friends the lake. They said they will both be back with their families this summer. Also, they really liked your place :) I appreciate the advise on Roark, although we weren't able to get on the Whites (Sand Bass for folks at my Latitude lol). We did, however, wear the rainbows out in the creek -probably caught 150 in an hour and a half. I'd have loved to weigh our 8 big fish in at a tourney, they'd be in the $$$ for sure :) My 96 yr old Grandmother (who taught me to fish) was tickled pink when I brought her a bag of "biguns" lol.

Thanks again Phil,

Jamie

Fozzy,

Were you in a Cobra with a 115 Merc? If so, then we spoke about both being there for the Bass. Hope you were able to find some :)

I went down and fished roark and caught a few on white and pink clousers (micro) minnows. I didn't see to many when I was there two days ago. I went under both bridges looking for schools of whites and didn't see any. The few I did catch hit it on the fall. I'm sure that's changed from what I'm reading. I'll have to give a try.

Accept the drift.....<>>><

"I would classify myself as a decient trout fisherman, but I have never caught 150 fish in 90 minutes.

Even if I have 2 other great fisherman in the boat that is a real stretch, you have to play those fish a bit.

I cannot tell you how impressed we are."

Jamie probably can catch 150 in 90 minutes all by himself... he's one of the best anglers I know... he's won or placed in the top 3 in almost every trout tourney he's fished, at least in my tourneys.

I'll vouch for his report.

Come on, Phil! That's 2 trout per minute. That kind of action doesn't even happen on schooling crappie and would be EXCEPTIONAL on running white bass. Trout? Maybe out of a run at the hatchery. Trout just don't feed that aggressively. I ain't buying it.

Gezzz guys- you're going to make everyone carry clickers and prove their numbers somehow.

Before long no one is going to report a good trip cause they might get blasted by the forum police for exaggerating their numbers which I'm sure none of us ever do!

If anyone out there never has told a 'whopper' fish story or said they caught 25 crappie when it was really 22, throw the first stone.

Ken? Bill?

ok Im reading 3 fisherman, 150 fish, one and a half hours. This will equate to 50 fish per ,in one and a half hour.very doable.Phil one man catching that many in one and a half hour is possible .I prolly would be tired as heck though.I am also figuring these are stockers no matter the size. They are very very easy to catch but I like to play them a bit.I will not knock anyones catch and release ability and I personally dont take a clicker with me when I fish. When I say I caught 50 crappie its prolly very close but whos counting.

Found some whites in the creek, largest 11 inches. Water coffee color and temp 60 degrees. Lots of small bites and no hookups on those on my small rattle trap
