I heard Bolivar had 6 inches of rain Thursday night. According to the USGS river gauge, there was no change in Pomme river level, which doesn't make sense. I know the lake is creeping up, how trashed is the Bolivar Landing area?

I live north of bolivar about 15 miles, I am unaware of any big rain last night.  There was a decent rain Thursday night.  Pomme river came up according to the usgs gauge but certainly not a flood.

Yes, Thursday night from what the radio said.  I talked to some family today, it sounds like in Bolivar they really only had about .5 inches, but Morrisville had 5 inches. Dadeville area has as much as 10. That would put that water over at Stockton, which could use some help.

I had heard that Eudora got a big rain, yep all that will run into Stockton.

It must have evaporated on the way to the lake.  It shows the same as it did a week ago.

None of the gauges I have looked at show anything more than a short duration low to moderate rise in the rivers.  Don't know if the reported heavy rains were in such a small area that they didn't produce much runoff.  I had about 1.5 inches Thursday night and it barely made a puddle.  Had been dry and it was soaking in quickly.
