FLW on Beaver Lake show

According to the guide, tomorrow at noon, NBCSP will air a one hour recap of the spring FLW tourney held on Beaver Lake.  Something neat they have done on the other shows this year is they give you a Google Earth type view of where anglers are fishing.  See Jimmy Houston catch fish on a spinner bait!

Jimmy is opposed to using spinnerbaits.  Especially Booyah and Roadrunner spinners.

I like how they were flipping jigs for the most part in areas thatl I fish also.  I could fish a jig all day long and be lucky to catch a fish.  Problem is, I love a jig. I just do. I'm just not that good at it. Lol

Seeing Martin using his power poles to fish a wind blown bank made me jealous.  I would do that if I had poles but poles on Beaver is not a must because they are typically dealer than poles will reach.   Besides, I can't justify the cost of those things.

I feel you liking jigs and not being any good. My wife has caught the biggest bass I have seen on Beaver by just dragging jigs behind the boat in the strangest places, with 90% of her hook sets coming from a pole holder. Then I miss 50% of my hook sets trying to do everything right, go figure.

The Ned has taken the place of my jigs since I can hookup with a Ned,

To me the Ned is just fun. Takes patience though.
