Long creek 10/1

We put in at long creek around 7:15 and fished till 10. Went south to a couple of longer coves. Caught 12 with 1 keeper spot and 1 keeper SM. Neither keeper over 2 lbs. but we came upon a 20 yard stretch inside a main lake point and caught 5 on successive casts with a pbj jig. The jig fell off a ledge and the SM just hammered it.  Fun while it lasted. Water temp down there was 73-75. Good color water. Very few boats early. But they started arriving when we were taking out.  It was a beautiful morning.
