Fall turnover

Hey guys!  I'm a new user here but have been fishing at the lake for many years during the summertime.  

I am heading down next week for a brother's only birthday weekend of bass and crappie fishing along with a little golf.

I am wondering when he fall turnover typically happens?  Hoping we can catch a decent amount of fish and am worried about catching the turnover. 

How has the fishing been this week?

I do not think you have to worry about the turnover for next week. Fishing has been pretty good from very shallow to deep 15-20 ft unless it has changed since last week. Try top waters early and then to bottom baits later.

Typically mid-lake LO begins turnover right around Halloween.

Thanks for the input guys.  We have a place at Lazy Days on the glaize arm and have a few brush piles to try out.  

We are also gonna try and get into some crappie on the docks, but I haven't had much luck in a long time catching anything with some size.
