i can not remember fishing a night without pretty good wind blowing for two months.  it sure makes it a work out controlling the boat while fishing.  most of the time, unless there is a shallow bite going on some type of moving bait,  you are holding the boat at an odd angle and fishing in a twisted turned around backwards position, and it is getting harder to do with each passing year:lol:.

caught too numerous to count short brownies, and you would get multiples in one small spot and nothing else around.  we did manage 7 keeper that did include on 4 lb. largemouth.  jtried a whole host of different weights of jigs and spinner baits, and the winner was a 3/4 GrassJig.  that extra speed was triggering way more bites.  water temp was showing 74, and most of our bites came in the twenty foot range.  we did cover quite a bit of water up shallow with spinner baits trying to find a shallow bite that would allow you to fish with the wind, but never did find it.

do not know how much rain different areas go, but kind of looked as though there may be some more color coming down the kings.  and, we did see two other boats (idiots) out fishing last night:lol:.  can not believe anyone would be crazy enough to be out last night.

Cool, glad to hear you are sticking those fish in spite of the weather.  It rained a bunch here in Bella Vista last night.
