11/3 CC Trip

Fished CC area from 9a-4p, water temp 68.1 - 68.4.  Felt like one of those perfect days with a low sky and mild breeze.  Lots of shad and birds and not too crowded.  Ended up with 7 keeper LM and 7 nice sized whites.  Many short fish too.  Caught most fish on a white rattle trap but also on a wart, spinner bait and an A rig.  It always amazes me how hard that area gets hit and how it always seems to produce fish.  Stockton is a really good fishery and we should be thankful!  Probably the best part of the day was the lack of even one political commercial!

Thanks for sharing! I fished the same area using Texas rigged worms and caught 3 nice size bass out of my kayak. I wish I could have covered more ground but the sun was going down and had to get back to Springfield.
