fished from 1030 to 300 caught 15 bass biggest one a little over 6 lbs.Crankbait in main channel did most the damage.

What kind of crankbait did you throw and what else were you getting bit on? I went out the next day a little later for a couple hours and got nothing but some good pictures, no bass....!

Blue and white  medium diver. 2 or3 on a 6 in. June bug worm.

When you say main channel what do you mean? 

 

And are you using anything to locate the bass, like a fish finder or anything?

I have a small fish finder that I use to find the channel with. There are some places that will surprise you. seems like I catch most of my better fish deep these days. The two biggest I have caught in that little lake were both a little over 8lbs but that was 25 years ago. Both of those were on top water.

Where is the channel at?  Is that a deeper part of the lake you are talking about?  I tried to find a map of the lake contour but couldn't find one online.
