Pour Dennis Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 I went out from Shell Knob yesterday to try the advice given me by Bill B. and others. I finally got my first Table Rock bass. Not a keeper but I did manage to get one. It felt great to finally get that first bite. Thanks to all that gave advice.
Bill Babler Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 D. You got to give us more info than that. What was the bait, how were you fishing it, and what location. I don't think anyone will infringe on your water, so spill your guts. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
techo Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 Congratulations! I would like to know what you did different as well. You don't have to give the specific location out if you don't want to. If you want to that would be nice too. Tim Carpenter
gonefishin Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 There are Bass in The Rock??? I would rather be fishin'. "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." Benjamin Franklin, 1759
Pour Dennis Posted March 16, 2007 Author Posted March 16, 2007 I stayed close to the bridge and stayed about a cast and a half off the bank. Picked up the fish on a 1/2 oz spinnerbait slow rolled it back to the boat, hit it right after the bait came off of a branch of a submerged tree. The fish took the bait in about 25 ft of water.
