Stump bumper Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 My plans now are to hit the lake and turn the phone off all day....anyone else skipping sales to fish?
J-Doc Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 Since moving here in 2002, I've traveled twice every Thanksgiving/Christmas holiday. Not this year!! I will actually stay home. So I promised to spend some time with the wife on BF. I hope to get a new reel or some "man stuff" on BF. Plus it earns me bonus points for spending some of the day with her. If you turn your phone off, how will I know I they are biting? Lol Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!

Dutch Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 I've never gone to buy stuff on Black Friday so I won't be skipping anything as I go fishing on Friday. All I have to do is decide what species I am going after.
1969Larson Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 If I'm getting up before the crack of dawn, it's to go fishing, not wait in line to buy something. Last 4 years the stripers have cooperated in PC on Black Friday.
Stump bumper Posted November 24, 2016 Author Posted November 24, 2016 Well so far I count 3 fishing one holding a purse?

Stump bumper Posted November 26, 2016 Author Posted November 26, 2016 Got out later today and fished until dark around Horseshoe, could not locate bait so I fished with a ned rig mostly. Green fish were plentiful but small 12 to 14". Shad seemed to be around 30 feet deep and spread out, a few big balls here and there. Not much moving shallow yet, water temp was 60 to 59. Pulled shad raps out in the open where I saw schools hanging out around 10 feet with no takers at all. Ran up Monte Ne and marked nothing, some bait in the back but too shallow to get to, less that 2 feet of water back there.
Dutch Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 I went to Stockton lake and fished for crappie and walleye with my S-I-L. We caught several crappie and 5 walleye. We brought home 4 of the walleye and 17 crappie. MOPanfisher 1
