Dkman Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 Thinking about heading up to find a crappie tomorrow afternoon. Has anyone been by CC area and noticed how the ice is? Just in the coves or is the channel frozen at all? Thanks in advance.
Dkman Posted January 9, 2017 Author Posted January 9, 2017 CC was froze up yesterday, Sunday, but Ruark was open. Caught a few crappie on black and chart Sliders.
CoolHandFluke Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 A little late posting this but, I caught my limit on new years eve on birch creek. Caught all on a blue ice Bobby Garland. Couple of fish were close to 13 inches. Fun but cold time! dprice, packersooner, terryj1024 and 3 others 6

Hammer time Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 Nice mix of black and white crappie! 1/16oz jig head I suspect? Or smaller?
