I know a lot of you are upset about this, but it's 5 freakin dollars. You've spent tens of thousands of dollars on a boat and a truck to get it there. Probably $100 per trip on gas. $50 on food and refreshments. Heck we even spend $18.95 on a Tim Hughes Custom stickbait (money well spent I might add). You can drive the extra 10 to 15 miles to get to the free or cheaper ramps but remember gas is around $2.50 per gallon.

I'm not trying to start an argument with anyone, just trying to put it in perspective. It is a nice facility and they do take very good care of it. $5.00 is still cheaper than going to a movie and it's a hell of a lot more rewarding.

I took my wife and daughters to dinner and a movie a couple of weeks ago. That was a quick $100.00. Yeah a hundred freakin dollars to go eat and see a movie. And now you tell me that I could have taken them to the lake and spent the entire day for $5.00, oh yeah, I don't have a problem with that.

Not trying to start an argument, OK...........Next time why don't you just make your post in all CAPS........I think if you knew a little about Sam you wouldn't be FREAKIN OUT...........Your the one that needs your head examined for paying $18.95 for a stick bait........

You will never catch me paying those high prices for BS baits. I still buy whats on sale and paint it when I need to.

The highest priced lure I buy is a Rapala.

Let's look at this another way.

Pittman, Robertson, Dingle Johnson acts. These are taxes on outdoor hunting and fishing gear!! We pay everytime we buy a lure, line or hook!! So again why should we have to pay to launch on public owned water?

Its not the money its the fact we have paid for these ramps over and over.
