Dan the fisherman Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 I wish I had something for u. I haven't fished sense New Year's Eve. I'm usually out 2-4 times a week and could direct u in a general direction. But lack of water time the last 3 weeks keeps me limited on the info. If I was to go today, I start at PC and work my way south, hitting major creeks, points and channel swings till I locate them. Sometimes it takes a couple of hrs to find them, but sometimes it takes a couple of days ?. Stripers move a lot, u just gotta be willing to move with them and hunt them down
M_Taylor Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 Welcome! Not in the loop on stripers but someone here might be able to help out. As for your gear and bait needs, Hook Line and Sinker on the east side of Rogers will hook you up. I will be out this weekend bass fishing but always on the lookout for stripers. Will let you know if I find anything
J-Doc Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 When I get a few minutes, I'll send ya a message. I haven't been out since Christmas Eve. When I put the boat up, I was very disappointed and thinking I might not fish till spring. But I have rejuvenated the hunt and found a cure for what was causing me pain. Hope to hit the lake soon. Maybe a few weeks off will do more good and get me back in the hunt. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
