moguy1973 Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 I just acquired a bunch of my dad's fishing equipment and found these vintage lures in the lot. I know what some of them are but I have no clue on the others. Anyone know what they might be? -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
moguy1973 Posted February 17, 2017 Author Posted February 17, 2017 Also found this fun looking bait that looks like a slice of watermelon. It's a Heddon Hedd Hunter. From a web search they are finicky to try to get tuned right but when set up correctly they have a super wide hunting wobble. dtrs5kprs 1 -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson

The bottom right bait looks like the Bomber version of a Bayou Boogie, name escapes me. Bigger jointed bait looks like an L&S Shiners Minnow. Out on the other two without researching them.

He has several Rebel Humpys in there also along with almost what it seems a whole 3650 box of original rapala stick baits. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson

Pico Chico dtrs5kprs 1 -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
WHARFRAT Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 Is #5 a Pico Chico or a Pico Perch? @lozcrappie

dtrs5kprs Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 Now if you had an old Pico Pop, you would have a real keeper.
Al Agnew Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 The top one is an Inch Minnow. I used to fish them when I was a kid fishing Big River--sunfish loved them. Bass, not so much. I once stuck both those tiny treble hooks into my buddy's scalp. Ended up just taking a pair of pliers and grabbing onto the body and ripping it out. Ouch. Glad it was him and not me
