Lance34 Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 Got back at it yesterday after taking last week off. Started rigging minnows and jigs about 12:30 and fished to about 4:30. Water temp 51 way up the White. Conditions where what has been working for me every time the past few trips. Shallow coves 3-6 fow, where the wind is blowing hard into it, pushing the shad to the back. Also tried the main river channel along the channel edge once the wind kind of laid down in 10-12 fow. Caught one keeper there and about 10 shorts. Wasn't able to give it much of a try, due to time and needing to get my girls. Caught guessing close to 40 or so shorts alone. It was nuts! There wasn't a time I didn't have a rod in my hand taking a fish off or putting bait on. Ended the day with 9 decent ones, 12-13". Nice forecast for the next several days, hope y'all are able to take advantage of it. God bless! JF660R, Ozark Flyer, BilletHead and 3 others 6
Members Fish Hound Posted February 18, 2017 Members Posted February 18, 2017 Lance, I think I saw you. I was standing on the stump by the boat ramp trying to get the less intelligent ones to bite. I did not have much luck. Went across 412 to granny hollow and that cove is almost dried up.

Must of been. Did notice a fella on the bank fishing. There was a couple of us rigging in there. I was in the tracker. Holler next time
