Members bassin Posted February 21, 2017 Members Posted February 21, 2017 As a kid in the late 80's or possibly early 90's I remember the missouri conservation department (or possibly another company) had tagged crappies and maybe bass that you could catch and turn in for a reward. I remember a paper or poster with the fish drawn on it with their names and what each one was worth if it was caught. I am looking for any help with this? What was the event called and I would really like a copy of the flyer or poster? Thanks for any help in advance.
Members Dman Posted February 22, 2017 Members Posted February 22, 2017 Doesn't ring a bell for me. Have you contacted the conservation dept. directly? They've been great in answering all my questions over the years!
WHARFRAT Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 I do remember that. But sorry, to me all it is, is a memory. WeekendWarrior 1 @lozcrappie
fishinwrench Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 Yep I remember that. Calico Kid ! Davis Bait & Tackle in Sunrise Beach (long closed), Beabouts in Osage Beach (also closed), and VanHooks in Camdenton (still open) were 3 of the main sponsors. Go by VanHooks and see if they have anything laying around. They are notorious hoarders.
