Lance34 Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 As much as I hate rigging in gale force winds, it's working. Really didn't know how yesterday was going to go honestly. Thought I wouldn't get a bite. Boy was I wrong. They where slamming it hard! Got started about 11:30 and fished to about 4. WT was 58 rigging minnows and jigs up the White. Caught them between 3-8 fow. But, most of everything was holding at 6 fow. Stayed pretty busy until about 3:30 when they shut off. Pull off the water with 12 in the kitchen that are being released at Lake Crisco. God Bless... Pics below Carl W, Blll, Vinsott and 5 others 8
Members Fish Hound Posted February 25, 2017 Members Posted February 25, 2017 Nice fish Lance. I need to get something to release into lake Crisco. I haven't put anything in it in awhile. Do you think this cold front will push them out a little deeper for awhile?
Lance34 Posted February 25, 2017 Author Posted February 25, 2017 IMO no... Been catching them in this depth all fall and winter. They were there in 41 degree water temp. I'ld just follow along the channel. Start out and move in
Members Fish Hound Posted March 21, 2017 Members Posted March 21, 2017 Lance, finally did some catch and release. Caught in Beaver lake and released into Lake Crisco. Before and after pics below. Thanks for intel and updates. I posted the catch in another thread and was in War Eagle arm. I'm not set up for spider rigging so these were single jig swam over brush or under a slip cork. Blll, Quillback, Lance34 and 1 other 4
buckwhisperer Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 Now that's a meal worth taking a picture of and sharing! Nice. Lance34 1
