St. Baldrick's

This Saturday, March 4th, at Helen Fitzgerald's in St. Louis, MO is the St. Baldrick's fundraiser. St. Baldrick's is a group that raises money for childhood cancer research. Adult cancer gets the majority of the funding for research, and there are differences in the diseases for children and adults. I will add some links below if you would like some more information. 

I will be shaving my head as part of the event, and if I meet my goal, I'm going to be shaving my beard off as well. I am participating in the event in honor of my college roommate (lost to leukemia) and in memory of a boy who played on my coworker's son's soccer team. If anyone is in the area looking for something to do this Saturday, come on out to Helen's. Grab a beer, eat some wings, and watch everyone get their heads shaved.
