rcguy Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 This is fun. I'm drinking coffee at home and watching the fishing! Oh, there's NoLuck catching all the fish!
rcguy Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 Some guy by the hatchery inlet is catching one every cast.
JestersHK Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 Not as crazy as I thought it would be from the looks of it. With the crappy weather and work I sat this one out this year. I'll be down this weekend though. I'm sure I'll be able to get my combat fishing fix in then.
NoLuck Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 You didn't see me catching fish, Jerry. I was standing on the bridge watching everyone. It started off like it was going to be pretty in crowded. Then at about 6:20 people came out of the weeds and the place got packed.
Members gwh Posted March 1, 2017 Author Members Posted March 1, 2017 Fished above the dam to the island, not that crowed as compared to other years. We caught a lot of fish during the first 1.5 hour. At least 20 over a pound and one nice brown that was a little over 13", like a football. Some small fish but not like last year. Saw quite a few lunker caught, biggest that I saw was 5 pounds.
