Dan the fisherman Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Did my first bass fishing of the season yesterday. I only fished from 2:30-430pm. But man did I have a blast! I fished wind blown points with a jerk bait and A-righ. A-rig was the only thing to produce. I ended up with 4 nice bass yesterday, 3 good spots and a beautiful LMB. It always seems like bass are always beautifully colored this time of the year, or it's just me missing them, I don't know lol. N e ways. Water temp was 52-53 in the point 11 area. Good luck out there fellas, stay safe!! Carl W, shark bait, Quillback and 1 other 4
Quillback Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Good day for sure! I agree the bass this time of year are at their peak as far as health and appearance. Once they've spawned and the water gets warm they can get pretty beat looking. Dan the fisherman, Blll and Carl W 3
Guest Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 it sounds like I could wind a single keitech across the points & do well. I cant toss that A-rig, too much steel. thanks
