Guest Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Another great day in the Ozarks. It was really windy & chilly on the water today. We managed to catch 8 bass, but missed 15 more bites. Even had fish chasing the lure to the boat, striking at the bait as I was lifting it out of the water. We're a couple weeks of warm weather away from these bass getting real easy to catch. We caught fish on Ned rigs around the bluff walls & crankbaits in the channel swings & flats. Not too bad for a Sunday. water 54 degrees & stained
Quillback Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Thanks for the report, that water does look to have some stain, I haven't been up that way in a couple of years.
Dan the fisherman Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Thats a good day. Glad u got into them. Thanks for the report
Guest Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 I think our best 5 weighed 11-12lbs. We had 3 fat keeper LGM & 2 fat K's Not bad, considering it took all afternoon to find a pattern.
Dan the fisherman Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Not a 100% but I may fish tomorrow. Work may keep me busy. I would like a 3-4 pound Largey if possible
Stump bumper Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 I will also try to get out before dark, look forward to seeing a mud line.
