blacknoseddace Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 Put in at Crabtree around noon. Had a nice wind blowing and found water temps from 48-55 degrees. Bass were shallow on windy banks and we caught them on square bill crankbaits, zoom craws, and streamer flies. Fun day! No walleyes, stayed with the bass all day. Didn't try points at all, just windy banks. Skeeter ZX190, zarraspook, BilletHead and 3 others 6

blacknoseddace Posted March 25, 2017 Author Posted March 25, 2017 It's an enjoyable way to catch bass when they are not too deep, better in Spring or Fall than in the heat of summer. The size bass I've been catching has been pretty good on the large streamer flies. It's cutting into my finesse worm fishing though. I hope you get into them tomorrow. Please give us a report. Tight lines! tho1mas 1
