hillbillyflyshack Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 Sunday we held our 33rd annual tournament with very good results overall. It took over 14lbs to win and the team of Darren Reagan, Todd Snapp and Steve Ruffel did that with not one but two legal browns of 5.5 and 4lbs a piece while the 2nd place team had over 8 and a half lbs with a 4.5lb brown caught by Jaret Peterson, Gary Peterson and Ryan Kennedy. The 3rd place team of Mike Riehn, Dean Reagan and Kevin Hyland came in with 7.5 lbs with big rainbow of 1.5lbs. WOW what a day everyone caught fish and we had a great time with wonderful weather and with the much appreciated assistance of the Lilley crew out tournament was a phenomenal success. Most of the winners were tightlipped about how and where they caught their fish especially the big ones but knowing them well I have a good guess about their good fortune which was minnows and crankbaits. A lot of worms were dunked as well as the usual powerbait while a few chummed which I do not agree with and hope to change. Again I wish to give big ups to Phil, Marsha and their crew for making this outting such a success. JestersHK, Seth, Phil Lilley and 1 other 4
