Lake coming up.  Fished a couple of hours and caught 12 with 6 keepers.  They're starting to come up, '7 to 10' down tight to wood.  Red sparkle jig with matching nibble.  Is it just me, but when I use a nibble it has to match the bait.  As in black/chartreuse gets a chartreuse nibble, red or pink jig get a red nibble.  Now you know reason I don't fish blue jigs.

On an off topic note.  KC star did fishing write up couple of Sundays ago and had Pomme #1 for MO crappie fishing.  I don't have much point of reference, but when I think MO crappie, Pomme wouldn't be lake I'd first think of.

I don't even know what color my crappie nibbles are.  Sometimes the presence of a nibble is important other times if it moves it gets eaten.  The annual report for Pomme has some good news for crappie fishing, heck of a year class from 2015 (high water year) and plenty of good sized crappie also.

Pomme has always been good for crappie for me. I have never used nibbles so can't help you with that.
