So, minimal tackle (I don't want to load up all my bass gear, and trout gear) what 2 or 3 techniques would you use?

Caught some fish on beds last weekend on white rage claws, also caught fish on chatter baits and spinner baits up the creek

I have narrowed it down to 17 rods for the bash this weekend so I'm no help!

If I brought all my bass gear, and all my trout gear I would have you beat! LOL

The wife says "why do you have so many fishing rods?" I say "have you ever seen a golfer with one club in his bag?"

Think I got a plan. Bring some soft lizzards, and craws and split shot them on the Medium action spinning rod I will already have for throwing flicker shads,  and such on for trout.  Add some sinko's, and hooks for wacky rigging. My spinnerbait rod, and a handful of white, white/chartreuse, and chartreuse spinnerbaits. Finally something heavier, and a few bass  jigs.

If that don't do it, I'll just go back uplake, and catch trout!

And your reply should be "Why do you have so many shoes?"  Then run.

She really doesn't. But I do have another edge. When she complains about me buying another gun. I tell her let's compare what that gun is worth in a couple years to what your latest QVC hosehold "decor" or what ever is worth.........

Then I run!!!
