Members jskutt04 Posted April 18, 2017 Members Posted April 18, 2017 Look for a machine shop. I bought a 2000 bayliner with a 3.0 mercruiser and it spin a rod bearing. Look to get it fixed.
fishinwrench Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 You don't need a machine shop, you just need a I/O mechanic. Odds are (if it ate a rod bearing) that the crankshaft is damaged... So now your in the market for a 3.0 short block.
Members jskutt04 Posted April 19, 2017 Author Members Posted April 19, 2017 Thanks Would you know what a short block would cost?
