jeb Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Almost 2 inches of rain so far in the PC area as of Noon on Friday, and still coming down hard. Lake level is coming up fast, but the water running into is still clear, at least so far. Hoping not too much mud gets washed into the lake. Dan the fisherman 1 John B 08 Skeeter SL210, 225F Yamaha
bferg Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Check out this graph: Strong history that by the end of April the lake will be between 1119 and 1121...
jeb Posted April 21, 2017 Author Posted April 21, 2017 We're up to 3 inches now, and PC is running very high and very muddy. Looks like it's going to be a much different lake after this storm goes through. Hope this doesn't mess up any spawning. Carl W 1 John B 08 Skeeter SL210, 225F Yamaha

I saw fry in Avoca last week, not sure from what but the higher the water the more cover for them to hide in. Full pool and more through the summer is always the goal and hope to see 1225 by June. jeb Posted April 22, 2017 Author Posted April 22, 2017 Ended up with 4 1/3 inches. PC has calmed way down, but is still stained. I've not been out on the lake yet, but it looks stained from shore. Lake level is up 4' so far. It'll be interesting to see how the FLW guys do next weekend. John B 08 Skeeter SL210, 225F Yamaha
RyanG Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 I fished today, back of PC is stained. Rest of mid lake still have good visibility. Can see down several feet, not as clear but definitely not dirty either. Did have a buddy up the rivers today and they are trashed. Can't hardly run a boat up there with all the trash. Even with the cold front though the fish were biting fairly well.
Stump bumper Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 I don't think I ever saw over 2 feet rise in a day, and the river water is not even there yet. Look for all that trash to hit Mid lake by Tuesday. It will be a good year to be selling props.

We already have over 3.3 inches of rain here in the White River headwaters. All the little creeks have been out of their banks. I think we will see 1126 plus by Sunday.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted April 26, 2017 Root Admin Posted April 26, 2017 I hope you're right and it's just 1126!!
JohnF52 Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Notice I said 1126 PLUS. We are up to 3.5 inches now...probably will end up with 3.6 to 3.7 inches in the headwaters area. Wildeye 1
