I've been doing  morning/evenings for striper and late mornings or afternoons for bass the last few weeks.  And luckily it's gone pretty good.  I've been fishing from copper mine to the bridge with good results on both bass and stripers.

Today with the nasty, cloudy, rainy day I decided to just striper fish.  Man did I make the right choice!  I fished wind blown points with the whopper, and spook and ended up with 13 quality striper.  I fished from 430 to dark and got bites most of the day.   Having spot lock really made it happen as I would lock up a good ways a away from the point and use the wind to carry the bait to the points.  Water temp was 65-66 with a light stain.  I haven't been out sense last week Wednesday and was surprised it had come up soooooo much.  Also seen a few trees in the lake so be careful out there guys.  Be safe.  I only keep 1 btw   The rest r free swimming

With the wind I worked the plopper fast with hard jerks to make more noise, and the spooks were the super spook variety so they big, and worked hard and fast.  I could see my bait darn near 50 yards away. Even in white caps.  If I could see them above, I know they could see them below.
