Caught 12 -15 nice sow whites last night between all the rain from the SE side of the lake. I'm planning on hitting Stockton again in a couple weeks in search of some walleye from the bank. I got some good tips from a few of you guys on the forum as far as spots to try but I'm looking for tactics now. Do I throw stickbaits? Jig with plastics? Live bait on a slip right?

Or does any one have an empty seat in their boat the week of the 15th???

Any of those baits you mentioned will work.  Bass tournament last week, i caught 3 walleye slow rolling a 4 1/2" Zoom Swimmin Fluke along hard gravel bottoms. A 4" grub would do it also, as well as a C-Rig bait pulled slowly on the bottom around bridge piers.   Walk the dam area throwing #7 Flicker Shads.

Also tho im a 99.9% bass fisherman, i would be glad to take you out and see if i could actually catch walleye while trying.  We have 13 year old twin boys, and 1 of them loves to troll so when hes in the boat, we troll Flicker Shads and catch several walleye that way.  Just send me a PM when your close to going to the lake, and i will take you out.
