I had mistakenly posted a previous fishing report here instead of the flood records info I meant to post, and posted it twice.  Couldn't figure out how to delete this whole post (where's the delete post button??), so left JoeD's message below, and my response.

Al, half of Missouri, including the Ozarks, and northern Arkansas, all of our beloved fishing places, are experiencing devastating flooding. Record setting. Homes and businesses and communities are suffering.

I'm sure you are aware. Glad you are having good fishing in Montana.

Your report, I think, is tone deaf . I think a little more empathy and good vibes sent to your fellow Missourians would have been more appropriate.

Montana trout just doesn't rate right now.

Joe, I don't know why this happened.  The editor on here seems to save my previous posts, and somehow I must have hit the wrong button and reposted this twice before I realized it and cut out the previous one.  I have tried to delete this post before it was read, and was only able to delete the mistaken fishing report on the other post of this same name, and didn't realize that this one was up as well until now.  I obviously don't mean to be unfeeling about this, because I have friends who have suffered and are still suffering from this flooding.  I posted my fishing reports from out here in Montana partly as a way to maybe take our minds off the devastation for a bit, and I'm sorry that this happened.  Rather than keep trying to delete this one (which obviously has the wrong message for the title, or the wrong title for the already posted message), I'm going to leave it up long enough to explain what happened.  However, I will delete the fishing report above.

I assumed it was an erroneous post and not intended as a JoeD read it. Nonetheless, it was an excellent report Al.
