Even that wasn't much luck. I was trying nearly every trick I knew. Even the original "shoreline" was pretty deep. It was pretty crazy being used to seeing 10-15 foot dead trees in the middle of a cove and we couldn't see them at all last week. 1 hour ago, Ketchup said: Wow Rps. Havent heard ofanyone getting checked on TR unless snagging season in a long time. Good to see them out. Hey D, we fished the original break line for 2 hours and even trolled Flicker Shads in those locations with nothing. I finally got checked at Pomme last Fall. I get checked around KC pretty often. Have those licenses ready . I wasn't in the kayak that day though.
Ranger520vx Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Like ketchup I fished the flooded stuff fished bluffs the original shoreline and sat the boat in 45 fow on points and threw a Carolina rig thinking they might be there with the water pulling across them but just that one top water bite is all I had.
