Members Basstard Posted May 18, 2017 Members Posted May 18, 2017 Have had a really busy spring and have not been able to get my boat out much at all since fishing for winter whites on the upper rivers of grand. Trying to get ready for a father-son trip to Canada the first week in June and really need to run my boat now to work out any kinks before dragging it 18 hours North. Can anybody tell me if there is much debris in the water near the Ruark Bluff area as I plan on heading up on Saturday to give the boat a good shake down. Any advice on any black bass patterns that we might want to try in that area of the lake?
Members JacobW Posted May 18, 2017 Members Posted May 18, 2017 Last Sunday I fished from hawker to the darn and didn't see thing big at all.
Dutch Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Haven't been south of Hawker but from there to the dam I have only seen 2 floating trees and that was several days ago. There could be if we get much rain tonight or Friday night.
Members Knot-a-Bite Posted May 18, 2017 Members Posted May 18, 2017 We fished the Ruark area last weekend and on Saturday there were several large floaters down around the mouth of Greaser. On Sunday fished the same area and did not see any floaters.
CoolHandFluke Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Was at Roark Wednesday. I did not see anything in the water. Caught 2 walleye, a couple of crappie, and a big Drum.
