Members Gary Stanton Posted July 3, 2017 Members Posted July 3, 2017 Got the new Drotto Boat Latch and Bow Drop Roller installed this weekend. It's really nice when you are loading and unloading by yourself or the water is cold. No need to hook up the winch. Just drive the boat on the trailer and it latches itself, then pull the boat out of the water! When you are unloading unhook the winch and safety chain then back in the water. Once you're ready to launch the boat, pull on the lever and it releases the latch. Here's a few pictures of the before and after. Old dog 417 Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 I thought the release lever extended upward above the bow. Has that changed or was that an option?

Members Kickerrich Posted July 5, 2017 Members Posted July 5, 2017 I believe they do have a longer handle for those higher bows in like a 1800 lund fisherman. looks good,it sure made loading easier for me
Members Bassin' fool Posted July 9, 2017 Members Posted July 9, 2017 Can this be used for any style of boat, or does it work best with deep hull?
