dwiebenga Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 I am making a trip down early Friday. I will be in the Shell Knob area. I would love some insight on the fish prospects for the weekend. I have heard that the fishing will be slow after a front, but it passed through yesterday morning. How long do the fish typically take to adjust to the temperature. What are some successful tactics for fishing the lake when this occurs. On the otherhand, has the warm March weather sped things up so much that the fish will have little reaction and continue thier progress to spawn because of the full moon early this week?? Thank you for all the great info. I hope to fish with some of you in the future. Dave
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted April 4, 2007 Root Admin Posted April 4, 2007 Hate to break the news but it supposed to get colder by the weekend. You might want to go trout fishing. http://intellicast.com/IcastPage/LoadPage....mp;prodnav=none
Members TRGFish Posted April 4, 2007 Members Posted April 4, 2007 Good call DJ. I just joined this forum to learn a little about Table Rock, Bull Shoals, and Taneycomo. I for one will like to hear how to deal with the cold front to help me out when I have to fish those days.
Members Cpt_DJ Posted April 4, 2007 Members Posted April 4, 2007 Some of us have to fish the weekend and deal the weather, as apposed to some who fish when they want weather permitting...so, with this weekend being Saturday partly cloudy, and Sunday possibly a bluebird day, which of the 2 would be most favorable for bass fishing? I thought I seen a post somewhere earlier where the sun put the fish where they wanted them, but not sure if the poster was refering to crappie or bass. I dont care so much about the temps, just want a favorable day. Thanks!
