Sea Worthy Again

I got out on the river the other day, a less than average day. What you might call a slow day. It rained on me for about an hour. It was one of those days when you dig deep in the tackle box and start fishing with lures that haven't touched the water yet. I didn't catch any thing big or very many but I always enjoy the float. I did have two first...caught a fish on a bright red craw colored crankbait, I've never used red, and caught my first flathead. It just so happened they both happened at the same time. The good new is Alice is sea, river, worthy again. So for anyone who has a hole in your HDPE kayak and can't plastic weld it, the answer is G/FLEX, thanks Flysmallie. I thought I would post pics of where the hole was, inside the scupper hole and the flathead. Released them all, Great day on the river......

Nice fish,  I always throw a red wiggle wart in the spring around Bridgeport when the water is a little dirty.  probably my fav wart color
