dtrs5kprs Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Just curious if anyone fished today? We had snow this am in the KC metro, but nothing of the sticking variety. Will be sacked out at Schooner Creek Resort this time tomorrow, hopefully nursing chewed up fingers.
Fishin' Freak Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Good luck to you on Tuesday. I have only been out once in the past month due to work but I am planning on hitting it hard this weekend. Keep us posted on your success.
Flysmallie Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 I have only been out once in the past month due to work You really need to have a long talk with your boss.
Fishin' Freak Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 I have had that talk, I have it every morning but it doesn't seem to be working. He is a real jerk!!!!! Have you been catching them?
Flysmallie Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 I haven't been bass fishing. I've caught some trout, chased some whites with very little luck and scared a couple of smaliies out of the stream. How did your painting experience turn out. Last time I talked to you it sounded like you were having some problems but I drove out of cell phone coverage before I thought I could really help you. Sorry about that.
Crappie5 Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Last day we went was the Monday April 2 that eceryone was talking about. We fished in the Kings river and at one time we counted 24 boats in Jackie's and we got blowed away from someone who came in Jackie's all way to the back on plane and made a few casts and came all the way out full plane, how he did not hit a tree I will never know. We had 14 keeper crappie smallest 11" and the largest 15-1/4". Sunday April 1st we limited out on crappie. Most of the fish were caught on a red/white tube jig tipped with a small minnow. Mostly in the brush or flipping in docks. Most fish seemed to be 6'-12' We have not been since the cold snap. Has anyone been up in the Kings since the cold snap? Thanks and good fishing. Remember to take a kid as often as you can. Wednesday March 28 I took my two sons and we brought home 45 keeper crappie.
