jcoberley Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 Last time i went it cost me almost 100.00 in gas plus 2 tent spots because we had a tent for the kids. Taxes on bait and such fishing permits and trout stamps and the list just keeps going. For a 2 day weekend and 2 nights it only cost me a little over 300.00 not saying about wear and tear to my mini van. And that might not be high for some people but when your on disilibity of 800 a month its way out of line! I wont be going back for a long long time!!!!! 14.00 a night for a tent spot! WOW What a RIP! Fish slow and easy! Borrowed this one from..........Well you know who! A proud memer of P.E.T.A (People Eating Tasty Animals)

WOW What a RIP! No doubt it has gotten to be a real rip off. $14 per night for a tent spot is ridiculous. It might be a little more palatable if for $14 they provided decent rest room facilities, showers, water, electricity, swimming beach and so on but, for a primitive site where the only amenity is stinking toilets with no lights, running water or paper products $14 per night is way out of line. I would rather be fishin'. "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." Benjamin Franklin, 1759
jcoberley Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 I almost forgot, There was a note that said on weekends like labor day, Forth of july and such the prices will be higher. Am I confused as to why and just how much higher! Fish slow and easy! Borrowed this one from..........Well you know who! A proud memer of P.E.T.A (People Eating Tasty Animals)
