jcoberley Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 I just don't get it! I had a lady run a stop sign today and she give me the bird and was yelling! It just floored me. And that was in a small town of about 800 ppl. What is up with that! Fish slow and easy! Borrowed this one from..........Well you know who! A proud memer of P.E.T.A (People Eating Tasty Animals)
strangercreek Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 everybody is in a dam hurry. If only they knew how stupid they look when they are tailgating, weaving traffic, pounding on the steering wheel etc. driving around Kansas City is hilarious, soccer moms going 85mph in their SUVs, grown men driving like teenagers (not paying attention, tailgating/cell phone at the same time etc etc) I like it when some one makes a left turn into the right lane or vice/versa and then flips me off because I am in their way (idiots) PATHETIC!!
jcoberley Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 strangercreek, Kansas city isnt the only place. I go to springfield a lot and driving between here and there one need a combat tank. It is bad. Again I say greed. I seen a lady reading a book and trying to put on makeup plus eat at the same time. Talk about multi tasking se was doing it right up till she went across metcalf and was t-boned. What can I say except she should have got up a little bit sooner. Fish slow and easy! Borrowed this one from..........Well you know who! A proud memer of P.E.T.A (People Eating Tasty Animals)
strangercreek Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 good point about the book. I can't believe how many people I see reading while they are driving. I've seen that alot lately. The other day a guy was on his cell phone and reading some business papers (holding the phone between his head and shoulder) weaving all over the place. The reading thing floors me. That is horribly dangerous. Is the drive that boring?
gonefishin Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Try 13 between Springfield and Bolivar! Its a regular racetrack. I heard NHRA was looking at it as a potential new speed sport. I would rather be fishin'. "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." Benjamin Franklin, 1759

strangercreek Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 I can imagine, truckers can be difficult, granted alot of them seem to be considerate but there are bad ones. I'll bet that is quite a sensation when a big truck flies by you and get pushed aside by the turbulence
