Homemade Bread Box Fly Tying Bench

Oldie but a goodie.   I will buy every single one of these as I find them.  Garage sales, flea markets......etc.   I've made 3 so far.  The best bench I've ever traveled with.

I'd just start with clean new lumber rather than take one apart, sand and stain then rebuild. Kinda like buying a lapstrake boat and disassembling it to repaint.  But I always was a lazy one.

If I find one of those boxes, I'll let you know. Not big enough to keep my stuff in, anyhow.

I've had 2 or 3 different portable fly tying benches over the years.  The thing I like about this one is the fact that it can be closed which will contain a lot of the essentials.   The other thing I like is the price.  I find these boxes for less than $10.
