Lake Springfield to Rivercut

It's for sure a doable float.  I float it a couple times a year and rarely see anyone. It's short but has some switchback spots that can log jam easily after floods.  It's probably someones secret spot, but I've had real good success fishing that stretch.  Water is usually real stained though from the powerplant above.  If you do float it, keep in mind one time I floated years ago and someone had put a full size Bass Boat at the bridge on 160 in somehow and I saw them right before Rivercut Bridge.  Just around the bend was a log jam and I always wondered how they got themselves out of that situation, because going back upstream on that stretch really isn't an option, you will see.

I’ve waded at the golf course once several years ago. Did very well.

Dont know why I never went back.

Not any more.  You used to be able to drive down to the river on the East side years ago.
